Once upon a time in a place far far away, I was an estate agent. Only after filling the office with smoke whilst cooking my colleagues lunch on a barbecue in the back alley did it become clear that maybe my interests might have lain elsewhere. I then became a baker, baking bread in a wood fired oven; a game dealer turned street-food seller; and a pop up restauranteur. I’ve worked in restaurant marketing, helped people get set up at a food business incubator, and been a chef at a restaurant that every two weeks had a new head chef from a top restaurant from around the world. I then did quite a bit of travelling around the world myself, cooking and learning along the way, and having lots of adventures and meeting lots of great people. I now find myself here combining some of my greatest passions: adventure and cooking to bring you my go anywhere restaurant and kitchen.
Whats all this then?
Its rare that I look outside and don’t feel it to be a great day for a barbecue or a picnic, for to eat outside is one of life’s greatest and most easily achieved pleasures. Find the perfect spot, be that under the shade of a tree, on top of a hill, or even the flat roof that you got to by climbing through a skylight, and that event will be so enlightened and heightened by the simple addition of great food and drink.
